Job summary

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and four years of full-time liability claims experience, with 18 months in supervisory capacity.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Division Chief in managing and directing day-to-day operations of the Property Damage Division.
• Supervise staff to ensure work meets high professional standards and complies with procedures and laws.
• Review files, investigative reports, and supporting documents for settlement or disallowance.
• Delegate settlement authority within prescribed limits.
• Communicate with the Law Department, other city agencies, attorneys, and stakeholders.
• Organize and manage special projects as needed.
