Belcan in Cedar Rapids is seeking a Principal Specialist for the Customer Property Team to ensure compliance with customer and government property requirements across multiple programs. This onsite role reports to the Site Customer Property Manager and collaborates with the central property organization, government customers, prime contractors, and internal stakeholders.

Ideal candidates possess FAR/DFARS knowledge, MS Office proficiency, and strong written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of customer property management, FAR and DFARS regulations.
• Ability to read and apply regulatory requirements in a government contracting context.
• Proficient in creating and delivering clear written and verbal communications.
• Ability to work autonomously with limited oversight and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical skills to identify process gaps and improve procedures.

Responsabilités

• Assure compliance to contract requirements, regulations, and RTX/Client/Site policies for managing customer property.
• Interface with site leadership and personnel to ensure compliance with established processes and procedures.
• Generate and provide accurate and timely property status reports and metrics for management and external customers.
• Perform property closeout activities.
• Partner with Contract Management to ensure property requirements are executed as needed.
• Comply with EH&S policies and applicable regulatory and company EH&S rules, supporting improvement efforts.
• Comply with Global Trade Compliance (GTC) policies and procedures.
