Avanath Capital seeks a meticulous Compliance Auditor to join our Compliance Team. This role focuses on hard-file reviews to ensure lease, tenant, and financial documents comply with Fair Housing laws, ACA regulations, and internal policies.

You will work with property managers to correct issues and keep records compliant. Ideal candidates will have outstanding attention to detail, ability to work independently, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Exceptional attention to detail during hard file reviews.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Strong verbal and written communication with residents and staff.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with compliance practices.

Responsabilités

• Review hard files for lease, tenant records, financial documents, and maintenance records to assess compliance.
• Identify discrepancies and potential compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with property managers to address compliance concerns and guide corrective actions.
• Maintain understanding of federal, state, and local regulations related to property management and leasing.
• Generate audit reports highlighting findings, recommendations and corrective actions.
• Support development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures.
• Stay informed about changes in property management regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Provide training to property management teams on maintaining compliance through proper documentation.
