Job summary

Avanath is seeking a meticulous Compliance Auditor to join our Compliance Team. The role focuses on hard-file reviews to ensure adherence to leasing laws, Affordable Care Act regulations, and internal policies, identifying non-compliance and guiding corrective actions.

You will collaborate with property managers, review resident and financial records, and stay current on federal, state, and local rules. This essential position supports ongoing compliance and best practices across our housing

Qualifications

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Affordable Housing regulations highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth reviews of hard files to assess compliance with leasing agreements, safety regulations, and fair housing laws.
• Examine property records to identify discrepancies or potential compliance issues.
• Collaborate with property managers to address compliance concerns and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain understanding of federal, state, and local regulations related to property management and leasing.
• Generate detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations.
