Douglas Emmett, Inc. seeks an experienced Community Manager in Santa Monica to ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained residential community. You will handle resident concerns, supervise activities, and enforce vendor contracts within budgetary limits.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and in-depth knowledge of California tenant laws. You will oversee staff, approve schedules, and generate regular reports detailing occupancy, liability, and marketing efforts.

Formación

• Broad knowledge of California Tenant/Landlord law and Fair Housing laws.
• 5+ years of direct experience as a Community Manager.
• Demonstrates initiative, professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily property operations and ensure residents receive clean, safe, well-maintained communities.
• Handle resident complaints and supervise resident activities.
• Inspect property and coordinate maintenance within budget; follow up on requests and liability concerns.
• Review vendor contracts and enforce contract requirements.
• Compile weekly/monthly reports on property status, staffing, marketing, and incidents.
• Train, supervise, and evaluate staff; hire and counsel employees per policy; supervise contractors.
• Establish schedules and assign personnel for routine maintenance and emergency coverage.
