Roundhouse in Kalispell, MT, is seeking a Community Manager to drive success for a multifamily property, overseeing financial performance and resident experience from start to finish.

You will lead leasing, marketing, and retention efforts, manage budgets and compliance, and develop your maintenance team while building a thriving community. A real estate license or timely acquisition, plus 3–5 years in similar roles, are preferred.

Qualifications

• Three to five years in Community Manager roles or management development program.
• Real estate license or ability to obtain within 120 days.
• Proven supervisory and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Teams/Outlook).
• Working knowledge of property management laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Run daily property operations across maintenance, leasing, and resident relations.
• Lead leasing, marketing, and retention strategies to boost occupancy and revenue.
• Set property goals with Regional Manager and plan to reach them.
• Own rent collection, delinquency, budgets, and financial obligations.
• Manage vendor relationships and contract negotiations.
• Develop maintenance team on turns, work orders, inspections, and capital projects.
• Conduct regular property walks to maintain curb appeal and safety.
• Resolve resident concerns quickly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate lease and financial records and deposit accounting.
• Prepare monthly and annual performance reports and occupancy metrics.
• Plan resident events to foster community.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, safety regulations, and policy.
