Job summary

Riaz Capital is seeking a Community Manager for a 166-unit property in Fremont, California. You will lead the onsite team, oversee leasing, maintenance, resident relations, and financial operations to meet company standards and drive occupancy.

Responsibilities include budget management, rent collection, market analysis, marketing and events to improve renewals and resident satisfaction, while ensuring compliance with Fair Housing laws.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of property management experience with supervisory responsibility.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Proficiency in Yardi and EliseAI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the onsite team to deliver consistent, high-quality performance.
• Conduct weekly staff meetings to align goals, review KPIs, and address challenges.
• Maintain engagement and retention, targeting voluntary turnover below 15% annually.
• Oversee rent collection and enforce lease terms in line with company policy and local law.
• Lead leasing operations to achieve and maintain occupancy of 95% or higher.
• Maintain renewal rates of 70% or higher through proactive resident engagement.
• Foster a culture of exceptional customer service and prompt issue resolution.
• Maintain resident satisfaction (NPS) of 70 or higher.
• Submit weekly performance summaries to leadership, covering key KPIs.
