Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee all operations of a housing community at The Pearl at Oxford Commons in Oxford, MS. You will manage personnel, leasing, maintenance, finances, and risk management on-site.

You will supervise staff, ensure compliance with policies and safety standards, develop budgets, marketing plans, and resident relations, while delivering exceptional service and driving NOI.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred or four years experience in the housing industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required.
• Screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts.
• Monitor deposits, rent collections, and charges to ensure timely processing.
• Head emergency team and ensure proper handling of property emergencies.
• Strategic leasing management and marketing plan development.
• Deal with resident complaints and ensure resident satisfaction.
• Maintain property appearance and coordinate repairs and inspections.
