Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant property claims adjusting experience of moderate complexity.
• Advanced knowledge of estimating losses using Xactimate or similar tools and platforms.
• Proficient knowledge of residential construction.
• Willingness to travel 50-75% of the year (local & non-local).
• Acquisition and maintenance of insurance adjuster license within 90 days and 3 attempts.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manages assigned claims caseload comprised of complex damages requiring knowledge of claims coverage and potential liability.
• Partners with vendors and internal partners to facilitate complex claims resolution and ensure documentation/compliance.
• Investigates claim damages by researching from insured, third parties, and external resources.
• Identifies coverage concerns and develops Special Investigation Unit referrals when appropriate.
• Negotiates complex settlements within authority limits and coordinates with management for settlements outside authority.
• Keeps thorough, current claim file documentation throughout the process.
• Utilizes estimating platforms and virtual inspection tools to prepare claims estimates.
