Qualifications

• College or equivalent required; claims experience a plus.
• Insurance knowledge and basic building materials knowledge preferred.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Exceptional customer service is a must.
• Must be able to work under all kinds of weather and assess physical aspects of property, including ladders.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, negotiate and settle assigned property claims.
• Interpret policies and determine coverage and loss value, set reserves.
• Maintain professional relationships with coworkers, agents, claimants and others while handling claims from Omaha, NE area.
