Nationwide is seeking a seasoned Manager, Claims - Field Property in New York to lead a claims unit across a geographic area. You will review, adjust and pay property damage claims while focusing on customer satisfaction and cost control.

The role requires eight years in claims with supervisory or coaching experience, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills. CAT readiness and travel may be involved; eligibility for state licensing where required is expected.

• Eight years related experience in claims settlement, handling or management.
• Supervisory, training and/or claims consulting experience preferred.
• Leadership, mentoring and coaching abilities.
• Strong customer service and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a claims unit within a geographic area, reviewing, adjusting and paying property damage claims.
• Manage customer satisfaction, expense control and cross-functional coordination.
• Develop workforce plans and lead local recruiting with HR and leadership.
• Monitor performance objectives and drive continuous improvements.
