Nationwide is seeking a proven claims leader to manage a property claims unit within a geographic area in the Downstate New York region. You will review, adjust and pay property damage claims, ensuring exceptional service and alignment with cost objectives.

The ideal candidate brings eight years in claims, strong leadership and a track record of developing teams, with licensing requirements and knowledge of best practices.

Qualifikationen

• Undergraduate degree preferred or higher.
• Experience in claims settlement, handling or management is required.
• Licensing and claims certification training may be required.

• Supports claims performance improvement by participating in special claims initiatives.
• Participates in local claims teams to improve cross-discipline coordination.
• Coordinates resources with other functions such as QA, fraud, subrogation and legal.
• Monitors and manages unit performance objectives.
• Delivers an outstanding customer service experience to Nationwide customers.
• Leads associates, including performance management and development.
