Job summary

Accessible Space, Inc. in the Twin Cities area seeks a full-time Property Caretaker / Maintenance person to keep our residential buildings safe and well maintained. You will handle routine upkeep, unit turnovers, and inspections to ensure a high standard of living for residents.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of hands-on repair experience, works independently, communicates clearly, and can interact warmly with diverse individuals. Willingness to work Monday–Friday 7am–6pm is required.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in performing minor building and maintenance repairs.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact respectfully and effectively with a diverse resident base.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe environment across locations.
• Complete minor building and unit maintenance repairs.
• Handle duties related to unit turnovers.
• Perform ongoing routine maintenance and prevention checks.
• Carry out unit and building inspections as required.
• Run routine errands as part of daily duties.
• Obtain bids on contracted maintenance and repair work.

Property Caretaker / Maintenance qualifications:

• One year of experience in performing minor building and maintenance repairs
• Work independently
• Effective communicate orally and in writing.
• Ability to effectively and appropriately interact with individuals
• Availability to complete general work responsibilities Monday through Friday between the hours of 7am and 6pm
