Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Property Asset Management Administrator to oversee GAAP-based property accounting for residential and commercial sites. You will manage capital projects, depreciation, and CMMS data, while coordinating with divisions and vendors to improve service and efficiency.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in accounting, strong Excel skills, and experience with Archibus or similar property management platforms. Travel is 20–50% across sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution with degree focus in accounting, finance, or business administration.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must have MVR clearance.
• Minimum seven (7) years of progressively increased accounting department experience.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting real estate software and platforms like Acumatica, QuickBooks and/or AvidXchange.
• Knowledge of Archibus or property management platforms is preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong communication abilities.
• Experience in Real Estate and Property Management.

Responsibilities

• Create and monitor capital asset project work orders and provide monthly reconciliations.
• Maintain the CMMS program and provide Archibus support as liaison.
• Review maintenance programs and SLAs for quality service delivery.
• Prepare annual operating practice reviews and assess efficiency.
• Develop multi-year capital budgets and coordinate with external vendors.
• Coordinate software upgrades and compliance with IT.
• Prepare forecasts for capital spending and depreciation.
• Enter journal entries for fixed assets and balance sheet accounts.
• Ensure financial reports tie to the general ledger and integrate acquisitions.
• Mentor property staff and manage time off requests and workloads.
• Identify and implement process improvements in Property/CMMS systems.
