Job summary

Capstone Real Estate Services, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager (Tax Credit Compliance) to manage day-to-day financial operations of a community, including rent collection, bank deposits, and payables. The role uses property management software, reviews delinquent balances, and enforces lease terms to protect revenue.

You’ll assist leasing and maintain tenant relations. Responsibilities include issuing invoices, coordinating with vendors, handling move-outs, and supporting the community

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Strong math skills.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Completes daily transactions and tasks related to financial operations by collecting and posting rent, fees, and other payments.
• Prepares daily bank deposits and monthly close-out reports, and processes invoices and payables.
• Operates property management software and maintains data integrity with updates and back-ups.
• Reviews resident files and accounting records to determine unpaid/late fees and enforces lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Reviews and submits vendor invoices, codes charges, and coordinates between vendors, accounting, and owners.
• Follows eviction procedures, notices, and, when required, represents the community in court.
• Processes resident move-outs, applies deposits/fees per lease terms, and handles disposition per procedures.
• Promotes resident satisfaction by addressing complaints promptly and resolving service issues.
• Acts as on-site supervisor in the community manager's absence and coordinates maintenance and operations.
