Job summary

Erie Insurance is seeking a Property Adjuster (Trainee/I/II) to manage property claims in the Milwaukee area. You will exercise independent judgment, assess damage, prepare estimates, and work with mentors to resolve cases. A strong emphasis on customer service and accuracy is required.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s degree preferred for higher levels), willingness to pursue training, and a valid driver’s license. Travel within the territory is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or required depending on level.
• 2 years claims handling experience required for I level; 5 years for II level.
• Willingness to pursue ERIE Technical Learning Center training; licenses.
• Valid driver’s license required; ability to travel within territory.

Responsibilities

• Handle property claims with independence; assist supervisor as needed.
• Live in territory and travel regularly within assigned area.
• Participate in the Property Adjuster Trainee program with structured training.
• Collaborate with agents and district sales managers as needed.
