Job summary

Kforce has a client seeking a Property Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day property accounting in Burlington, MA. The role reports to the Senior Vice President of Accounting & Finance and manages external and internal reporting for the property portfolio.

Responsibilities include reviewing leases, GAAP/IFRS compliance, quarterly closes, and audit coordination with tenants and lenders. Ideal candidates have 8+ years CRE accounting and MRI or Yardi proficiency with supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Accounting; CPA a plus.
• 8+ years of comprehensive accounting experience; CRE experience preferred.
• Proficiency in MRI or Yardi; strong organizational and supervisory skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight to property accounting per company policies.
• Review lease structures and ownership structures for GAAP/IFRS compliance.
• Present quarterly revenue, NOI and depreciation variance analysis to executives.
• Review financial statements for external parties (JV, lenders).
• Coordinate acquisitions, dispositions and new developments transitions.
• Ensure all accounting complies with management and mortgage agreements.
• Oversee tenant audits from inquiry to conclusion with regional teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
