Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in accounting with 5–10 years of accounting experience, including at least 3 in real estate, plus managerial experience. Hybrid work arrangement in Burlington area.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary accounting liaison with third-party property management companies, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, reconciliations, and adherence to ownership reporting requirements.
• Coordinate annual audits and partnership tax compliance with external public accounting firms.
• Manage the accounting operations for a portfolio of retail shopping centers
• Manage small team of real estate accountants
• Oversee tenant billings, percentage rent calculations, CAM reconciliations, real estate tax recoveries, and operating expense reconciliations.
• Review and approve journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Manage the year-end audit process
