Job summary

Linear Retail Properties, based in Massachusetts, seeks a Property Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day property accounting and coordinate with a third-party manager. The role reports to the VP of Accounting & Finance and offers a hybrid schedule.

Strong candidates will have a BS in Accounting, 5–10 years CRE experience, and proficiency in MRI/Yardi and Excel; you will lead close, reporting, and internal controls across a growing portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent required.
• 5–10 years of commercial real estate accounting experience.
• Experience managing property accounting teams and third-party property managers.
• Proficient with MRI or Yardi and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee third-party property manager's accounting team.
• Review monthly property financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Lead month-end close and financial reporting at the property level.
• Manage accounts payable, cash flow, and budget reforecasts.
• Support audits and tax compliance requests.
