Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong GAAP accounting, financial reporting, and month-end close experience.
• Prior leadership, mentoring, or demonstrated ability to guide and develop others.
• Commercial real estate or property accounting experience preferred.
• Yardi, MRI, or similar property accounting systems experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process and review financial statements for accuracy.
• Manage, mentor, and develop Property Accountants while providing hands-on support when needed.
• Review reconciliations, billings, budgets, and supporting schedules across the portfolio.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, audit support, and year-end accounting activities.
• Partner with the CFO to improve processes, strengthen controls, and enhance reporting.
