MRK Partners is seeking a Property Accountant to manage accounting for a portfolio, reporting to the Property Controller and coordinating with regional teams. The role emphasizes accurate monthly closings, bank reconciliations, ledger reviews, and quarterly state reporting.

The ideal candidate brings a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance and at least five years in property accounting, with strong MS Excel and Yardi experience. Collaborative, autonomous, and detail-oriented work is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 5 years of property accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of Yardi or other property accounting software.
• Understanding of state agency reporting.
• Strong MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Monthly closing of financial ledgers.
• Completes timely bank reconciliations.
• Reviews and analyzes ledger accounts.
• Reviews budgets and plans forecasting.
• Submits quarterly reporting to State Agencies.
• Completes financial reporting package.
• Addresses and resolves audit requests.
