Beyond International in Houston, TX seeks a Leasing Consultant to manage financial operations for a mixed portfolio of multifamily and commercial properties. The role centers on Yardi Voyager 7S/8, general ledger, leases, and financial reporting.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, 2–5+ years of property accounting, GAAP knowledge, strong Excel, and bilingual English/Spanish preferred; CPA in progress is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required
• 2-5+ years of property accounting experience, with exposure to both multifamily and commercial real estate preferred
• Advanced, hands-on proficiency in Yardi Voyager 7S/8 required (Recovery/CAM, Job Cost, Fixed Assets, AP)
• Solid understanding of GAAP as applied to real estate (straight-line rent, CAM/recovery structures, accruals, fixed assets)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs)
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple properties and deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication; bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
• Active pursuit of CPA designation a plus

Aufgaben

• Maintain general ledger, tenant/resident ledger, and vendor data in Yardi Voyager
• Set up and maintain properties, leases, and chart of accounts in Yardi
• Run and audit Yardi reports for close
• Utilize Yardi modules for commercial assets and multifamily functions
• Collaborate with IT on Yardi upgrades and migrations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for a mixed portfolio
• Lead month-end close with journal entries and reconciliations
• Manage full-cycle AP/AR, including coding and vendor payments
• Calculate CAM, rent recovery, insurance, and real estate tax recoveries
• Review rent rolls and delinquency reports with onsite teams
• Maintain fixed asset schedules and track capital projects
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Assist with audits and lender reporting
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies
