Job summary

Beyond International Group is seeking a Property Accountant / Staff Accountant to support full‑cycle accounting for a growing portfolio of multifamily and commercial real estate assets in Houston, TX. The role is highly systems-driven, with emphasis on Yardi Voyager 7S/8, GL integrity, month‑end close, and cross‑property coordination.

You will work with onsite teams, property managers, and the controller to maintain accurate records, run reports, and ensure data integrity across the platform.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of property accounting experience (multifamily and commercial preferred).
• Advanced, hands‑on proficiency in Yardi Voyager 7S and/or 8. Speak to modules used (Recovery/CAM, Job Cost, Fixed Assets, AP).
• Strong GAAP knowledge as applied to real estate (straight‑line rent, CAM/recovery structures, accruals).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs, financial modeling).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work with onsite management and senior teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead month‑end close with journal entries, accruals, prepaid schedules, and reconciliations.
• Set up and maintain properties, leases, and chart of accounts in Yardi.
• Prepare financial statements for a mixed portfolio of multifamily and commercial assets.
• Manage full‑cycle AP/AR, including invoice coding and cash receipts posting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis by property.
