Job summary

Project for Pride in Living, Inc. seeks a skilled property accountant to manage full-cycle accounting for a diverse portfolio. You will report to the Associate Controller of Property Management and handle financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting support, and performance analysis.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with YARDI or similar property accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain property accounting records in GAAP compliance.
• Prepare journal entries, GL reconciliations, and monthly/ quarterly/ annual reports.
• Analyze budget variances and KPIs for multiple properties.
• Support HUD/MHFA and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Assist with budgeting, audits, and audit workpapers.
• Help improve accounting policies and internal controls.
