Job summary

Confidential Company, located in Aventura, FL, seeks a Property Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting for a portfolio of properties using Yardi Voyager. You will report to the Controller and help drive accurate financial reporting and process improvements.

The role requires Yardi Voyager experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and excellent Excel and communication skills. This is an in-office position with limited in-person requirements.

Qualifications

• Yardi Voyager experience is required.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and month-end close experience.
• Proficiency in Excel with good organization and communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle property accounting in Yardi Voyager.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash applications, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and assist with month-end close.
• Prepare property-level financial statements and support consolidated reporting.
• Coordinate loan payments, escrow activity, and intercompany transactions.
• Partner with the Controller on financial reporting, process improvements, and special projects.
• Support audits, tax preparers, and lender requests.

Office Location: Aventura, FL (only 1-2x in office)

We are seeking a Proeprty Accountant to join a growing real estate investment firm focused on industrial properties. Reporting directly to the Controller, this individual will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of properties and related entities.
