CFS in Wisconsin is seeking a Property Accountant to join an experienced accounting leadership team focused on real estate accounting. You will prepare monthly financial statements for assigned portfolios and participate in month-end close.

You will partner with property managers, support audits, and help drive operational success across accounting, operations, and property management while building relationships with leaders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of accounting experience; property, real estate, or multi-entity accounting is a plus.
  • Strong Excel skills with excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly financial statements and close activities for assigned portfolios.
  • Record journal entries, reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and general ledger activity.
  • Partner with property managers to review financial performance and support operational success.
  • Assist with audits, year-end reporting, and special accounting projects.
