Job summary

ICO Group of Companies is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Property Accountant to support the financial operations of our commercial real estate portfolio in Los Angeles. This full-time, in-office role manages full-cycle property accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, and collaboration with property management and accounting teams.

The ideal candidate will have GAAP knowledge, strong Excel skills, and experience with Yardi Voyager to process rent rolls, CAM reconciliations,

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting for assigned commercial properties.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, general ledger activity, subsidiary ledgers, and job cost reports.
• Perform month-end close activities and account reconciliations.
• Assist with bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Support annual budgeting, CAM reconciliations, 1099 reporting, and year-end tax preparation.
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies while ensuring accurate financial reporting.

ICO Group of Companies is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Property Accountant to support the financial operations of our commercial real estate portfolio. This role is responsible for full-cycle property accounting, including financial reporting, reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, budgeting support, and compliance with accounting policies and procedures. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, exercises sound judgment, and enjoys collaborating with property management and accounting teams.

Key Responsibilities

Property Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Manage full-cycle accounting for assigned commercial properties.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, general ledger activity, subsidiary ledgers, and job cost reports.
• Perform month-end close activities and account reconciliations.
• Assist with bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Support annual budgeting, CAM reconciliations, 1099 reporting, and year-end tax preparation.
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies while ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Accounts Receivable

• Process tenant receipts, deposits, ACH payments, and wire transactions in Yardi.
• Review delinquent accounts and ensure appropriate late fees are assessed.
• Partner with Property Managers to review aging reports and resolve outstanding balances.

Accounts Payable

• Review accounts payable transactions for proper approvals and coding.
• Process invoices in Yardi as needed.
• Coordinate vendor invoice approvals and maintain vendor records.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain accurate accounting records.

Qualifications
