Job summary

Pinnacle Propane, LLC is seeking a propane service technician in San Antonio to safely deliver propane to residential and commercial customers. You will perform vehicle inspections, load and transfer propane, and document delivery records in compliance with regulations.

You will also communicate safety concerns and maintain equipment in top condition. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and reliable service, with opportunities to grow in a company that values community involvement

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum one year in propane service, HVAC, plumbing, or related field preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• CDL Class B with Tanker Endorsement or ability to obtain.
• Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain.
• DOT Medical Certificate and DOT drug/alcohol testing compliance.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English sufficiently for job duties.
• Ability to interpret manuals, piping diagrams, specs and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and remove propane systems and equipment.
• Install service lines for residential, commercial, agricultural, and industrial customers per NFPA and DOT rules.
• Perform gas leak tests, pressure checks, and safety inspections before service.
• Diagnose and repair propane appliances and equipment such as water heaters and furnaces.
• Educate customers on safe propane usage and system maintenance.
