Job summary

AmeriGas Propane, Inc. is seeking Service Technicians for local routes near you. You will install and repair propane tanks with safety and customer service at the forefront, operating service vehicles and performing deliveries when needed.

Requirements include a valid class A/B CDL with hazmat/tanker endorsements, a DOT physical, drug test and background check. Expect 8–12 hour shifts with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Valid class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• DOT physical, drug test and background check completed.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a propane service vehicle with lift gate and boom along service routes.
• Perform repairs on existing propane tanks for commercial and residential customers.
• Install new propane tanks/systems for commercial and residential customers.
• On an as-needed basis, perform Delivery Representative functions, such as delivering bulk or canister propane.
• Adhere to AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures.
• Work 8 to 12-hour shifts.
