Job summary

AmeriGas is hiring a Service Technician to install and repair propane tanks for residential and commercial customers. You will operate a propane service vehicle, perform tank repairs and installations, and may deliver propane as needed, always following safety standards and AmeriGas policies.

Qualifications

• CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required.
• Acceptable driving record required.
• DOT physical, drug test and background check required.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a propane service vehicle with lift gate and boom along routes.
• Repair existing propane tanks for residential and commercial customers.
• Install new propane tanks/systems for residential and commercial customers.
• On occasion, perform Delivery Representative duties (bulk or canister propane).
• Adhere to all federal/state codes and AmeriGas policies and procedures.
