Job summary

AmeriGas Propane, Inc. is seeking Service Technicians at locations nationwide. You will safely operate a propane service vehicle, install and service propane tanks, and may perform delivery duties as needed.

The role requires a valid Class A/B CDL with hazmat/tanker endorsements, a clean driving record, DOT physical, and ability to lift up to 70 lbs. Expect to work outdoors in all weather and shifts of 8–12 hours.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• Acceptable driving record.
• DOT physical, drug test and background check.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a propane service vehicle with lift gate and boom along service routes.
• Repair existing propane tanks for commercial and residential customers.
• Install new propane tanks/systems for commercial and residential customers.
• Occasionally perform Delivery Representative duties for bulk or canister propane.
• Adhere to federal/state codes and AmeriGas safety policies.
• Wear required Personal Protective Equipment.
• Work 8 to 12-hour shifts as needed.
