Job summary

Heller’s Gas, Inc. is seeking a Delivery Technician to transport propane to customers, perform leak tests, and ensure safe operation of company vehicles. The role requires installing, removing, and maintaining propane tanks, piping, and gas-powered appliances in outdoor field settings.

The candidate must hold a Class B CDL with tanker, air brake, and hazmat endorsements, and pass background checks and drug testing. Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Relevant experience preferred.
• Familiarity with computers or mobile devices used in service.
• Valid Class B CDL with tanker, air brake, and hazmat endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Transfer propane from bulk storage to truck and to customer tanks.
• Verify tank information upon delivery, including serial numbers.
• Perform visual inspections and report issues.
• Monitor truck tank levels to ensure adequate supply.
• Install and maintain propane tanks, gas piping, and appliances.
• Provide safe operation guidance to customers and safety procedures.
• Inspect and leak-test supply systems and equipment.
