Job summary

AmeriGas Propane, Inc. is seeking safety-minded Service Technicians for local routes in Overgaard, AZ. Responsibilities include installing and repairing propane tanks for residential and commercial customers, safely operating a service vehicle, and delivering propane when required.

Adherence to safety policies and PPE use are mandatory. Qualified candidates hold a valid class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements, pass a DOT physical and background check, and can lift up to 70 lbs.

Qualifications

• Valid class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• DOT physical, drug test and background check required.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate propane service vehicle with lift gate and boom on assigned routes.
• Perform repairs on existing propane tanks for commercial and residential customers.
• Install new propane tanks/systems for commercial and residential customers.
• On an as-needed basis, perform Delivery Representative duties (bulk or canister propane).
• Adhere to all federal/state codes and AmeriGas safety policies.
• Wear required personal protective equipment and work 8–12 hour shifts as needed.
