Job summary

Superior Plus Propane is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our team in Blairsville, GA. You will perform propane service and tank installation, identify leaks, and respond to customer emergencies while rotating on-call duties evenings and weekends.

Cross-train for bobtail deliveries and coordinate with managers, dispatchers, and customers to ensure safe, reliable service. Requirements include 2–3 years propane/gas service experience, a CDL Class A or B, Hazmat/Tanker endorsement

Qualifications

• 2–3 years propane gas/oil service preferred; HVAC background encouraged.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CDL Class A or B required.
• Hazmat/Tanker endorsement preferred.
• Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We do not sponsor visas.

Responsibilities

• Propane service and tank installation.
• Identify and correct leaks from tank to equipment connection.
• Respond to customer emergencies as needed.
• Rotate on-call status during evenings and weekends as needed.
• Perform tank maintenance on spare tanks located in plants in preparation for service.
• Complete tank inspections and repairs at customer locations.
• Cross-trained to assist with bobtail truck propane deliveries as needed.
• Communicate proactively with the Service Manager, CSC Manager, Dispatcher, Sales reps, drivers, and customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Consistently communicate proactively with the Service Manager, CSC Manager, Dispatcher, Sales reps, drivers, and customers as necessary
• Perform other job duties as assigned.

What you bring:

• 2-3 years propane gas/oil service preferred; HVAC
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree
• CDL Class A or B
• Hazmat/ Tanker endorsement preferred
