Job summary

Superior Plus Propane in Clyde, NC seeks an experienced Service Technician to join a safety‑minded team. The role includes propane servicing, tank installations, leak checks, and on‑call rotations, with responsibilities spanning equipment and customer locations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform propane service and tank installation.
• Identify and correct leaks from tank to equipment connection.
• Respond to customer emergencies as needed.
• Rotate on-call status during evenings/weekends as required.
• Prepare spare tanks for service; perform tank inspections and repairs at customer locations.
• Maintain proactive communication with District Manager, Service Coordinator, Sales reps, drivers, and customers.

We are looking for an experienced Service Technician to join the team at the Clyde, NC customer service center. Superior Plus Propane is a premier propane company with exceptional employees who look out for one another's safety. What You’ll Do:

• Propane service and tank installation.
• Able to identify and correct any leaks from the tank to equipment connection.
• Respond to customer emergencies as needed
• Rotate “on call” status during evenings and weekends as needed
• Perform tank maintenance spare tanks located in the plants in preparation for putting them in service.
• Complete tank inspections and repairs at customer locations.
• Consistently communicate proactively with the District Manager, Service Coordinator, Sales reps, drivers, and customers as necessary

What you bring:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree
• CDL Class A or B
• 2-3 years propane/oil service preferred; HVAC
