Job summary

Superior Plus Propane is seeking a field service professional to perform propane service and tank installation. You will identify leaks from the tank to equipment connections and respond to customer emergencies as needed.

The role requires rotating on-call status during evenings and weekends, and may involve assisting with tank maintenance and deliveries. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and either CDL Class A/B or willingness to obtain within the first year, plus 2-3 years of

Responsibilities

• Propane service and tank installation.
• Identify and fix leaks from tank to equipment connections.
• Respond to customer emergencies as needed.
• Rotate on-call status during evenings and weekends as needed.
• Perform tank maintenance and prepare spare tanks for service.
• Complete tank inspections and repairs at customer locations.
• Potential cross-training to assist with bobtail truck deliveries.
• Communicate proactively with Service Manager, CSC Manager, Dispatcher, Sales reps, drivers, and customers.

What You’ll Do:

• Propane service and tank installation.
• Able to identify and correct any leaks from the tank to equipment connection.
• Respond to customer emergencies as needed
• Rotate “on call” status during evenings and weekends as needed
• Perform tank maintenance spare tanks located in the plants in preparation for putting them in service.
• Complete tank inspections and repairs at customer locations.
• Will be cross-trained to assist with bobtail truck propane deliveries as needed
• Consistently communicate proactively with the Service Manager, CSC Manager, Dispatcher, Sales reps, drivers, and customers as necessary

What you bring:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree
• CDL Class A or B or willingness to obtain within first year of employment in the position
• 2-3 years propane/oil/ HVAC service preferred
• Propane Delivery License preferred
• G1, G2 or equivalent trade license required
