Job summary

Superior Plus Propane, Inc. is seeking an experienced Service Technician for our Bridgewater, MA location. You will handle propane service, tank installations, and emergency responses while coordinating with the Service Manager and team.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in propane/oil service (HVAC helpful), a High School Diploma, and a preferred CDL Class A/B with Hazmat/Tanker endorsement. We offer competitive pay, PTO, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B with Hazmat/Tanker endorsement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Propane service and tank installation.
• Identify and correct leaks from the tank to the equipment connection.
• Respond to customer emergencies as needed.
• Rotate on-call status during evenings and weekends as needed.
• Perform tank maintenance and prep of spare tanks for service.
• Complete tank inspections and repairs at customer locations.
• Cross-train to assist with bobtail truck propane deliveries.
• Communicate proactively with the Service Manager, CSC Manager, Dispatcher, Sales reps, drivers, and customers.

We are looking for an experienced Service Technician to join the team at the Bridgewater, MA customer service center. Superior Plus Propane is a premier propane company with exceptional employees who look out for one another's safety. Primary duties include:

• Propane service and tank installation.
• Able to identify and correct any leaks from the tank to equipment connection.
• Respond to customer emergencies as needed
• Rotate “on call” status during evenings and weekends as needed
• Perform tank maintenance spare tanks located in the plants in preparation for putting them in service.
• Complete tank inspections and repairs at customer locations.
• Will be cross-trained to assist with bobtail truck propane deliveries as needed
• Consistently communicate proactively with the Service Manager, CSC Manager, Dispatcher, Sales reps, drivers, and customers as necessary

The ideal candidate will have:

• 2-3 years propane/oil service preferred; HVAC
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree
• CDL class A or B with Hazmat/ Tanker endorsement preferred

The hourly rate for this position is $28.00 - $35.00 per hour.

This role will be eligible for overtime pay once scheduled work week hours are met.

When applicable, this role is eligible for an on-call incentive stipend.

This position is also eligible for a quarterly/annual incentive program.
