Job summary

Superior Plus Propane seeks an experienced Service Technician to install and service propane tanks at customer sites in Gainesville, GA. You will identify leaks, respond to emergencies, and maintain equipment while ensuring safety and quality in every task.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, CDL Class A/B, and preferred Tanker/Hazmat endorsements, with 2–3 years of propane/O&G service experience. This role emphasizes teamwork and on-call flexibility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CDL Class A or B required.
• Tanker and Hazmat endorsement preferred.
• 2–3 years propane gas/oil service experience preferred (HVAC).
• Legal authorization to work in the US; no visa sponsorship currently.

Responsibilities

• Perform propane service and tank installation.
• Identify and correct leaks from tank to equipment connections.
• Respond to customer emergencies as needed.
• Rotate on-call status during evenings and weekends.
• Inspect and maintain tanks at plants and prepare for service.
• Complete tank inspections and repairs at customer sites.
• Communicate proactively with Service Manager and field staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you’ll do:

• Propane service and tank installation.
• Able toidentifyand correct any leaks from the tank to equipment connection.
• Respond to customer emergencies as needed
• Rotate “on call” status during evenings and weekends as needed
• Perform tankmaintenancespare tanks located in the plants in preparation for putting them in service.
• Complete tank inspections and repairs at customer locations.
• Consistently communicate proactively with the Service Manager, CSC Manager, Dispatcher, Sales reps, drivers, and customers as necessary
• Perform other job duties as assigned.

What you bring:

• High School Diploma/GED
• CDL Class A or B
• Tanker and Hazmat endorsement preferred
• 2-3 years propane gas/oil service preferred: HVAC
