ThompsonGas is seeking a Safety & Technical Trainer to design, deliver, and evaluate structured training for field operations in Reno and Sparks, NV. The role emphasizes safety outcomes, on-the-job training, and measurable performance improvements across service technicians, drivers, and field leaders.

The position requires 3+ years in safety/training, knowledge of NFPA 54/58 and FMCSA, CETP 4.2, and strong communication skills.

Competenze

• 3+ years in safety, training, or propane operations roles.
• Knowledge of NFPA 54/58, FMCSA regulations, CETP through 4.2.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Self-starter able to lead initiatives across a distributed workforce.
• Willingness to obtain professional certification in instructional design or related fields.

Mansioni

• Design and deliver training programs for field staff aligned to safety standards.
• Evaluate training impact with pre/post assessments and observations.
• Develop SOPs and training materials including slides and handouts.
