Job summary

MFA Oil Company is seeking a Fuel & Propane Service Technician in Illinois to install propane, refined fuel, and lubricant systems at company and customer sites. You’ll perform service work, maintain inventory, and support safety programs while meeting state and federal guidelines.

The role requires a high school diploma, ability to obtain CDL endorsements within 90 days, CETP/crane certs if applicable, and reliability for on-site field work with after-hours availability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain a Class A/B CDL with endorsements within 90 days.
• Completion of CETP and MFA Oil crane certifications as required.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt service including installation of tanks and service of equipment.
• Install petroleum, propane, or related equipment at company and customer locations.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies and maintain safety procedures.
• Inspect installations for safe, dependable operation and complete documentation.
