Job summary

Pico Propane, a Meritum Energy Holdings Company, in Fort Lauderdale, FL, is seeking an experienced dispatcher to schedule propane deliveries, manage routes, and coordinate with drivers and service technicians to ensure timely installations and service appointments.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of dispatch experience in the propane/oil industry, strong communication skills, map-reading ability, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. A high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of dispatch experience in propane/oil industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; map reading ability.

Responsibilities

• Schedule deliveries and provide instructions to drivers and service technicians.
• Review routes, monitor and adjust routes as needed.
• Respond to customer inquiries and address concerns to maintain satisfaction.
• Maintain open communication between management and drivers for delivery orders.
• Ensure customer accounts are billed for gas delivery.
