Job summary

ThompsonGas seeks a District Manager to lead assigned district locations, ensuring top customer service, operational effectiveness, and profitability. You will guide staff, implement strategic goals, and optimize expenses while ensuring safety compliance across sites.

The role requires experience in the propane industry, DOT knowledge, and strong leadership with excellent communication and analytical skills. This is a safety-sensitive, full-time position with growth potential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required, college degree preferred.
• Five or more years in propane industry preferred, with some management experience.
• Ability to manage multiple locations.
• Active knowledge of DOT standards and expectations.
• CDL a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees district activities to ensure customer service, efficiency and profitability.
• Directs staffing, development, and execution of company goals across locations.
• Monitors operating expenses and optimizes personnel and vehicle costs.
• Ensures compliance with safety codes, policies, and regulations.
• Manages cash control, inventory, documentation, and audit procedures.
• Participates daily in district purchasing and expenditure planning.
