Job summary

ASTEMO AMERICAS, INC. in Georgia seeks a CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The role focuses on operating high-speed equipment, verifying part dimensions, and maintaining quality standards in a dynamic warehouse environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and at least five years of manufacturing experience, with strong math, reading/writing skills, and manual dexterity. Shift A, Monday–Friday, 6:50 AM–3:10 PM.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Five (5) years manufacturing experience with preference in equipment assembly or high-speed equipment operation.
• Sufficient reading and writing ability to follow work order instructions and prepare simple production reports.
• Basic math skills.
• Sufficient manual dexterity to operate machines properly.
• Sufficient visual acuity (corrected) to read instructions, operate machines, and visually inspect parts products.
• Physical ability to do work requiring frequent standing and walking.
• Physical strength sufficient to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently.

Responsibilities

• Audit/verify process control documents for completion and accuracy.
• Enforce safety and quality policies.
• Coordinate training activities and audit effectiveness.
• Troubleshoot process issues as a means of mitigating downtime.
• Ensure production areas are safe, neat, clean, and well organized.
• Coordinate changeover activities and audit for accuracy and accountability purposes.
• Respect work hours, support production goals and timetables, which may require overtime.
• Ensures ISO14001 & TS16949 compliance by following procedures and work instructions.
• All production, scrap, and downtime reports are completed properly and timely.
• Product and/or component dimensions are checked via in-process inspection check sheets with indicators and gauges.
