ASTEMO AMERICAS, INC. is seeking an Assembly Operator for the E shift (7:00 PM - 5:30 AM, Mon-Thur) at our Georgia facility. The role focuses on following instruction sheets, inspecting products with gauges, and performing changeovers for different product types.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, experience in manufacturing or assembly, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Strong teamwork and data entry for reporting are valued as part of daily operations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in manufacturing/industrial assembly preferred.
  • Ability to work in a team to meet production goals.
  • Ability to read and follow work orders; basic math skills.
  • Good manual dexterity and visual acuity.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and frequent bending.
  • Pre-employment assessments required.

Responsibilities

  • Follow operator instruction sheets or verbal instructions to operate equipment.
  • Check dimensions using gauges and indicators per procedures.
  • Change parts and fixtures to support product type changes.
  • Look for defects in products and workmanship.
  • Enter data daily to maintain charts and reports for QA and production teams.
  • Keep a clean, 5S work area and adhere to procedures for quality standards.
  • Suggest and implement continuous improvement programs.
  • Report machine issues to support staff.
