Akkodis is seeking a Proofreader/Editor on a contract basis for a Raleigh, NC client. The role focuses on ensuring accuracy across marketing content and supporting customer-facing campaigns for retail/B2C.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in English/Journalism/Communications/Marketing or related field and 3+ years of proofreading/editing experience. Spanish fluency is a plus and collaboration with marketing teams is essential.

• Review and edit all monthly retail promotion assets, including editing existing content before submission to the Creative Design Team, early review/pre-proofing of all designed materials, and participating in the standard 1-2 proof proofing cycle in Workfront.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure messaging is compelling and accurate.
• Maintain high-quality content standards and meet strict deadlines.
• Create content as needed that matches the Advance brand standards and uses best content practices for various digital and printed marketing materials.
• Attend project meetings and act as a steward of the Advance brand tone and voice across channels.

Akkodis is seeking a Proofreader/Editor for a Contract with a client located in Raleigh, NC, with strong hands‑on experience with Spanish, proofreading, editing, various marketing channels, and supporting customer‑facing initiatives and campaigns for the retail/B2C business.

Rate Range: $30/hr - $34/hr (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors)

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (flexible schedule), 10 hours/week most weeks, some weeks up to 20 hours

Must Have:

Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related field.

3+ years of experience in proofreading/editing.

Preferred:

Fluency in Spanish
