Job summary

Muckleshoot Casino Resort in Auburn, WA is seeking an on-call events assistant to support gifting events and promotional activities on-site. You will set up, manage, and wrap up events, and ensure materials are prepared and placed for smooth execution.

Ideal candidates have customer service or event support experience, are physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, and can work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Competitive pay and meals are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service or event assistance experience preferred.
• Ability to manage intricate details involved in setting up promotional and gifting events.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to various events.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, unboxing, and preparing materials.
• On-call role with shifts based on event needs, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and work in a physically active environment.

Responsibilities

• Exemplify MCR’s values and provide excellent guest service and professionalism.
• Unbox, prep, and organize promotional items for gifting events.
• Assist in setting up events with giveaways, signage, and equipment.
• Move, unbox, and arrange materials up to 50 lbs.
• Distribute promotional items, help guest registration, and answer questions.
• Pack and store remaining materials after events and restore spaces.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure event success and maintain a positive work environment.
• Perform additional tasks to support event success, including trade shows.
