Job summary

CAPSA is seeking a Projects & Events Coordinator to turn ideas into action through well-organized projects and meaningful community events. You will collaborate with staff, volunteers, donors, and community partners to plan, implement, and document initiatives that support CAPSA’s mission and strengthen services for survivors and families.

The role requires strong organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and professional

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience coordinating projects, events, programs, committees, or other collaborative initiatives preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while building positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and CAPSA's mission.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate fundraising events, awareness month activities, employee appreciation events, conferences, and other organizational initiatives.
  • Plan, coordinate, implement, and document projects and events with staff, volunteers, donors, and community partners.
  • Build strong relationships, communicate clearly, and manage competing priorities.
  • Ensure follow-through from planning to completion with attention to detail and accountability.
