Job summary

Accura Engineering & Consulting Services, Inc in Nashville, TN is seeking a skilled Project Surveyor to join our team. You will apply advanced surveying techniques while collaborating with senior survey and engineering professionals on diverse and exciting projects.

Responsibilities include processing field data with MicroStation and AutoCAD, performing design calculations with a Professional Land Surveyor, ensuring compliance with standards, and supporting survey deliverables with lidar, UAV

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification in Surveying and eligibility to sit for licensure examinations in Georgia.
• Experience with mobile/terrestrial lidar, UAV data, and hydrographic surveys is preferred.
• Familiarity with GPS networks and data collection workflows.
• Strong knowledge of surveying principles and GDOT standards.

Responsibilities

• Process daily field survey data using MicroStation and/or AutoCAD to create survey drawings.
• Collaborate with a Professional Land Surveyor for survey and design calculations.
• Ensure all work complies with client standards and documentation.
• Assist survey team members and support problem-solving.
• Interpret engineering documents and digital files for survey work.
• Perform field data collection and reduction for lidar, UAV, and GPS data.
• Support preparation of survey deliverables using industry-standard software.
• Stay updated on surveying technologies to improve outcomes.
• Carry out surveying tasks as required.
