Job summary

Accura Engineering is seeking a skilled Project Surveyor to join our Atlanta team. You will apply advanced surveying techniques while collaborating with senior survey and engineering professionals to support diverse, exciting projects.

This on-site role requires 5+ years of land surveying, Georgia licensure eligibility, lidar/UAV data experience, and proficiency with MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, and InRoads. You will handle field data collection, deliverables, and timely project execution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Land Surveying experience.
• Certification in Surveying; eligible to sit for Georgia licensure.
• Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record.
• Experience with mobile/terrestrial lidar data, UAV data, and hydrographic surveys.
• Familiarity with GDOT standards and processes; Proficient in GDOT software.

Responsibilities

• Process field survey data to create high-quality drawings using MicroStation and AutoCAD.
• Collaborate with a Professional Land Surveyor on survey and design calculations.
• Ensure compliance with client standards and documentation.
• Assist survey team members and contribute to problem-solving.
• Interpret engineering documents for accurate survey applications.
• Conduct field data collection for lidar, UAV, GPS networks; reduce data.
• Prepare survey deliverables using standard software and tools.
