K&A Power Group is seeking a Senior Project Specialist to join our team in Bethpage, New York. This hybrid role in Melville, NY (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays) offers opportunities to work on critical energy projects and collaborate with a dedicated team.

You will oversee material reconciliation, support the FEMA Team, and utilize SAP to manage data, schedules, and work orders, leveraging your strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• A four-year college degree is preferred, majoring in Business Administration or related field.
• 6 years of experience performing this specific job function and requires some managerial oversight/direction.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrable quantitative and analytical skills.
• Utility background is preferred.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Microsoft Project experience is a plus, and prior work on a federally funded project.

Responsibilities

Role Expectations

• Assist with oversight of material reconciliation process
• Provide project-based assistance and support to the FEMA Team

• Utilize SAP to:
  • Record Data
  • Update New/Current Information
  • Update Work Orders
  • Track Schedules and export into Excel

What We’re Looking For

• A four-year college degree is preferred, majoring in Business Administration or related field.
• 6 years of experience performing this specific job function and requires some managerial oversight/direction.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrable quantitative and analytical skills
• Utility background is preferred
• Previous experience utilizing basic computer applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint).
• Microsoft Project experience is a plus, as is prior work on a federally funded project
• Demonstrate a high level of personal initiative and ability to interact with stakeholders positively and collaboratively.
• Demonstrate a high level of skill in Microsoft Excel.
• Must be in Long Island or Queens County
• Hybrid Position in Melville, NY (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)

Pay Range $85,000-$95,000/year
